Sportradar AG inks International Hockey Federation betting data rights alliance

A little over a month after deepening its relationship with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and sports data intelligence specialist Sportradar AG has now heralded the signing of a deal to become the exclusive betting data rights partner of the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

The Swiss organization used an official press release to detail that this latest arrangement will run through to the end of 2030 and see it collect betting data from all of the field hockey body’s competitions before distributing it to partners located around the world. The specialist explained that this will encompass approximately 300 annual contests from a range of prestigious events including the Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup, the Men’s FIH Pro League and FIH Hockey5s World Cup as well as qualifiers for the upcoming 2024 and 2028 Summer Olympics.

Sportradar AG stated that the new alliance is to moreover involve it supplying the FIH with ‘a bespoke competition management platform’ so as to allow its cohort to supervise its own data and tournaments more effectively.
